Lead agencies in the field encompassing mentoring children of prisoners
(MCP) programs are clearly beginning to emerge as many of them received
a second three-year grant from the US Department of Health and Human
Services in October. Having mastered best practices from their first
grant, these agencies are forming new partnerships and expanding their
